This rondocubist villa was built in the 1920 by the architect F. A. Libra. It was one of the villas belonging to the newly formed colony of Freedom.

The aim of our project is to reconstruct this villa in keeping with the original design of F. A. Libra. The new extension is designed in such a way as not to compete with the old but to harmonise with it in a modern way.
The existing villa complements the new one – storey extension, which is mainly embedded under the original garden. This is designed as a “hill”, which increases from east to west to the street corner yet decreases from north to south into the garden. By this the extension is unobtrusive, due to the extensive green roof and it does not change the original rondocubist villa dramatically.
